They have only seen one in every other case that has come in. Storm has been one per, as has been Manthing.
No variants seen from them as yet either.
BW is one per every other case? Well damn... that sucks... I told him he would get one if he got a case... oopps... guess I told him wrong...
Although with his luck he'll probably end up getting a Red and Blonde one in his... lucky bastard...

The Walmart I was just at had three pegs of ML2 - tons of the Hulk with shirt, and a bunch of Things and Human Torches... and a few Cappys.
Weird.
Damn... so even if you buy a case you might end up hunting? That's awful...

Been that way from ML7 from the sounds of it.
Those that ordered early cases of ML 7 didn't get Vision as he wasn't packed. ML 6 had the Phoenix Deadpool issue, and then ML8 now........
I am hoping ML 9 doesn't get screwed up like that since it is coming with the Galactus pieces. I think I would seriously stop right then and there if I had as hard a time getting all of ML9 to build him that I have had with ML 6, 7, and 8
Oh I'm ordering a Case of 9, and if I don't get at least one of each in order to make a Galactus... that will probably be the end for me... I can understand short-packing and whatnot... but packing in a figure inside of other figures and then making them unavailable is just unacceptable.

I have preordered a set with varaints from Amazon.
I can usually get the wife's blessing on most things, but for some reason she can't get the hang of buying cases in the hopes of getting a full set, so I am only able to order sets, and the only place that I find semi reliable and not reaming the price is Amazon. ONly failed on one figure that I have ever preordered from them (and expected)

My Wal-Mart just re-did the toy section and put out ML6, but (of course) the Deadpool and the Phoenix were gone before I got there. Also, I saw the Shirt Hulk/Human Torch/Captain America phenomenon there only 3 days before they stocked ML6.
I have to wonder why only certain old ones were showing up.

I've been missing out on Man-Thing for weeks now.. I've seen the dregs of the line, and have gotten storm and iceman, but I really want a Man-Thing.
Good news though, is the wal-mart nearest me has reset, and will have 10 pegs of ML! plus, they'll finally carry spawn figures now as well! (I can't see any reason why wal-mart wouldn't carry the dragons)
It seems like marvel legends is now the "hot" figure line, and even tru sells out in a day or so whenever they get any at all.
Oh, and interestingly enough, the walmart near me also STILL has an entire endcaps of 12" Nascar jeff gordon (I think it's him).. they've been there a few weeks now, and I'd say there are no less then 40 of them.. and they are even clearanced down to $10 a pop now, with no signs of movement.
I might take my camera with me next time to take a pic.
